Recycled, Handcrafted Cork Board Set

This striking, high quality frame was quite a find. I'm thrilled to offer it to you in its current, repurposed form as a sophisticated and functional cork board.  I  love the interplay of the formal frame against the organic texture of the corks.

The frame measures a large 24-1/2" x 20-1/2".  It has a brushed silver finish, generous 2-1/2" moldings and exquisite detailing.  It features the faces of over 230 wine corks and comes with 8 large coordinating push pins.  The back has a "custom frame shop" finish and the piece comes ready to hang as shown.

I've selected each cork for condition, shape and size (to fit tightly and minimize any gaps). Each cork is glued firmly to the rigid, luan backing. I've applied a protective finish to the corks which give them a nice sheen and make them easy-to-clean with a damp cloth. The finish does not interfere with using the cork surface as a bulletin board.

The 8 push pins are each little works of art all by themselves, handcrafted from repurposed jewelry and vintage buttons.  They really complete the set.  I've been waiting a long time for just the right piece to showcase the delicate silver filigree findings, and I think the wait was worth it!

This cork board would make a spectacular wedding, birthday or anniversary gift to be enjoyed by men and women alike. What a great conversation piece in your bar area. Of course, it also makes a handsome and practical bulletin board wherever you need a little more organization.

This is a one of a kind, eco friendly bulletin board. All the major components of this board are reclaimed so there may be dings here and there. I like to think these imperfections add to the overall charm of the piece and I hope you agree!
