Until I can locate the Journey Into Mystery box, I'll be posting some Bronze Age lots.

Another beautiful and very glossy copy of the first issue. I'm knocking this book way down for a few irking flaws. First, there is a small bit of rust at the bottom staple on the cover side (centerfold side is clean). Second, there is a slight wave to the book just right of the spine as if some thin but heavy rod once lay vertically atop the comic (I'm guessing it's the result of having other books stacked on top of it during shipping--no color breaks, but it is noticeable). Last, there is a non-color-breaking pinhole dent at the bottom of the T in Man-Thing and a small area (maybe 0.125" by 0.125") of impact or pressure stress just below the G in Man-Thing which includes a few very thin stress lines. Tiny bit of stress in left corners, decent top edge with a 1.5" non-color-breaking wrinkle line from printing just below edge at spine and a small ink stain from printing just left of middle of top edge, tiny bit of stress upper right corner, pretty nice right edge, hard-to-see 0.1875" crease lower right corner, pretty nice bottom edge and spine, and few other small non-color-breaking stresses on the cover. Staples are solid.
