The Chessmen are new and each set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, a standard that was introduced by The House of Staunton over 10 years ago.

These chessmen are Boxwood and Ebonized boxwood. Also known as faux Ebony, Ebonized Boxwood is created when Boxwood is treated with a specialized stain to create the look of Ebony. When done properly, it can be difficult to distinguish between an ebonized and ebony piece when brand new. It is perfect for those who want the classical look of a Genuine Ebony Chess set at an affordable price.

This Walnut and White Maple Wood Chess set is a hand crafted collectible. The pieces are genuine House of Staunton carved of solid rosewood and boxwood. The Board is 18"x18" with 2" squares and a 1" border. The board has a beautiful grain pattern and is a walnut on the border and a natural blonde maple and walnut for the playing area. All 34 pieces are New.

This stunning four queen chess pieces are tournament standard House of Staunton Classic Series. The board is a rarity and is hard to find.

This chess set is in mint condition. The board is new. The pieces are in perfect shape. The board is scuff and scratch free. All four corners are scuff free. I still have the cardboard sleeve the board came in.
