Oil Lamps from the Holy Land
 
In 1986 the ancient Galilee boat from the Holy Land was discovered by my two brothers: Yuval and Moshe Lufan.
This boat is from the time of Jesus and is also known as "The Jesus Boat".
The boat was found on the muddy shores of the sea of Galilee between Ginosar (my home) and Magdala and the mud preserved it for about 2000 years.
The artifacts that were found in the boat are an oil lamp and a cooking pot from the 1st century A.D.
 
I'm a Potter from Kibbutz Ginosar and I use potter's wheel to make oil lamps from the mud of the Sea of Galilee, according to the model that was found in the ancient boat by my brothers.
My authentic Holy Land oil lamps are now available and can make a great gift for any occasion!
