I'm selling my collection of these great rangefinder cameras, I was using them myself, so everything is nice, clean, and working, you can only see little dust on photos (grr, it's almost impossible to keep it away during shooting) Here are first pieces: *Kiev III, year 1955, ser. number 5511920. - this is really value for collector - it's harder to find, has cyrilic engraving KNEB. - had CLA 5 months ago. - everything works properly, except light meter(responds to light a bit, but I expect it to be almost dead, as usual in these 50 years old cameras). - original leather case. no original takeup spool. - rangefinder clean and precise. *Jupiter 8, 50mm / f2, ser. number 5636731, coated. -works perfectly, clean, free of fungus, dents, scratches. non original Lens - shade. *Jupiter 12, 35mm / f2,8, ser. number 8006114, late, multi coated. - works perfectly, clean, free of fungus, dents, scratches (also rear element!). Older Kievs (approx. till year 1960) are as good as prewar Contaxes (made on same machines, with assistance of German engineers, as result of war reparations), and this is one of them. Very nice manual cameras, no electronics. Shooting with them has nice unusual feel - very different from modern, AF cameras. I was really happy using them. If you use "Buy it now" option, I will give some 35mm film (by your choice) as gift. This is gallery I've shot with it, with 50mm Jupiter (aperture f=2 everywhere to keep the picture soft). http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/7464616_CK7ES You can read more about Kievs here: http://www.commiecameras.com/sov/35mmrangefindercameras/cameras/kiev/index.htm http://www3.telus.net/public/rpnchbck/zconrfKiev.htm http://www.swcornell.com/camera/Kiev4a.html http://www.russianplaza.com/Kiev%202%20%203%204%205%20range%20finder%20history.htm
If
you have any questions or want more pictures, just feel free to contact
me. Of course - return possible if not as listed. Please, ask before bidding. I am from Slovakia (European Union), I will ship worldwide, if you want to know price for shipping, ask me (I suppose it to be about $25-$45 anywhere, but I'll have to ask at post office to know exact price). Shipping from Slovakia is sometimes "difficult" and little bit time-consuming, so I'm trying to use the easiest & cheapest option - First class International I've found quick enough and reasonable price. For small (up to 2kg) parcels letter mail is the cheapest, but give me no receipt from the post office to prove I actually sent it and no insurance is possible. If you want to have insurance, I must to send item as "package box", then I can insure it, but it's more expensive. So insurance is available, but at a price (and not to every country - I have to ask at office), if sending without insurance, I'm not responsible for item loss (but it never happened yet). I don't charge anything for the packing and delivery, it's pleasure for me to pack it for you, and I'll combine multiple items. Due to these reasons I prefer to ask a little bit more for P&P, and I'll return you the difference (because shipping price varies - depends on your country, on weight, insurance). |
