Vintage 1985 Luxman Digital Synthesized Receiver R-405

This past week, I came across this wonderful Luxman Receiver. The receiver has 55 watts/channel, an AM/FM tuner, and all the connections for CD, video, phono, etc. Cosmetically, the receiver is in superb condition with the following minor exceptions: there is a slight nick or burr on the Tape 1 push button, and a couple of sticker marks on the side of the receiver. These marks will most likely come off with a little goo-be-gone or Fantastic cleaner.

Now, the most important part - the function of the receiver. It performs as if it were new. Sound is reproduced and amplified flawlessly and smoothly. You could spend a great deal more for a new receiver today and still not get the quality and performance that the Luxman will provide. An antenna will be needed for both AM and FM reception.
