This item is a 1/9th plate (2" by 2 1/2") daguerreotype picturing a little girl.

The image is SEALED. The dusty film inside the case appears to be easily removed by a restorer. I see no visible scratches. There are a couple of tiny discolorations on the upper facial area.

The image is not enclosed in a case - keeper and frame only.
