VINTAGE LOWA Hiking Boots- LEATHER- Men's 10 Vibram!

These vintage leather Lowa boots belonged to my dad, who collected hiking boots. He kept all his boots in excellent condition, and these were not worn often. The leather has been treated to both enhance the durability and the beauty of the boot.
They are in great shape- the stitching is sound, the leather is in good condition, and the tread shows little wear! The size is a men's 10N. These vintage boots are made to be not only protective and durable for the outdoors, but comfortable as well! The tongues and insides are padded, as well as the collars- they are leather inside and out too, including the lining and tongues. The tongues and inside of the boots are well-protected with leather and a cloth flap that folds over them to keep out dirt and water. They also have velcro on the tongues to keep them from sliding around with friction and movement-- very handy! On the inside of both boots there are markings on the side that read "N10 15686 00". The "LOWA" logo is pressed in one side of both boots, with the words "Made In Germany". There is some stitching wear on the toe of these boots, they are otherwise in wonderful condition (just thought I'd let you know, see photos for detail- they have been worn with care!). The soles are high-quality Vibram, with the yellow logo on the bottom. Build is solid and tough, and there is little give when the sole in the ball-of-the-foot area is flexed. These boots come with  the laces pictured, which are in good condition! The length of the outer sole is 12 ¾ inches (323mm). The width is 4 1/8" (104mm) at widest point, 3 ¼" (82mm) at the heel's widest point. The hardware is in great shape, no rusting or heavy wear. There are 18 lacers on each boot, making them highly adjustable and secure!! ^_^ Interior length heel-to-toe is 11 ½" (292mm), and inside heel width is 2 ¼" (56mm).

These boots look sharp for daily wear, but are tough enough for the serious hiker. I know little about hiking boots, but these are real rugged beauties, I can tell they were built to last! Overall condition is great- they will arrive treated and ready to wear! My dad wanted these to be enjoyed and appreciated- they would be great for anything from everyday wear to hiking and mountain climbing!
