Analytical and Scientific Equipment works in conjunction with

LabTrader Scientific Equipment Inc.  All instrumentation is in our showroom/warehouse facility located in North San Diego County, CA.

Business Hours:

We are available to answer questions and review offers Monday – Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 1pm Pacific Time.  All offers and questions submitted after 1pm on Friday will be addressed first thing the following Monday morning.

Items Sold AS IS:

Items are sold as pictured, as is.  We do our best to provide a thorough description – we reflect the AS IS sales status in our pricing. All PARTS units are sold AS IS.   

Testing Requests on

AS IS Items:

Testing requests for AS IS items are subject to a labor charge of $220/hr.  This fee will be invoiced separately and after testing Analytical an Scientific Equipment reserves the right to re-list the item under different warranty terms and at an increased price.

Items Sold with

90 Day Warranty:

90 Day Warranty- Seller warrants to Buyer that the goods shipped to buyer are free of operating defects under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. Seller will provide the necessary parts and labor to provide such operating condition. Warranty does not cover operator error, operator misuse, nor repair by third party.  Warranty does not include operating failure due to natural catastrophes, electrical failures or voltage spikes, fire, theft or failure to operate the equipment according to operational procedures as outlined by the original manufacturer. Seller is not responsible for any training or instruction with respect to the equipment and assumes that the buyer knows what is being purchased and how to safely and correctly operate the equipment. Warranty does not include seals, valve gaskets, bulbs, filters, and all other short-wear items.  

Store Return Policy:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  Returns are not accepted. 

Items Returned for Repair:

This applies to items sold with 90 day warranty ONLY.  All repair returns are subject to approval.  All items must be decontaminated according to NIH/CDC guidelines.  Upon approval of return for repair, we will provide the appropriate forms.  Due to the sensitive nature of our instrumentation, full compliance in the completion of these forms is required, we will NOT accept shipments back under any other circumstances, we will NOT accept shipments that do not fully comply with this procedure.

Handling Times:

We do our best to process your order as quickly as possible.  We respectfully request 2 – 4 business days depending on the complexity of the item and the sales terms (warranty items take longer to prepare as they go through final testing before shipment.)  We can expedite any order for an express handling fee which varies depending on the instrument, shipping rates, etc.

Will Call Orders:

Local clients can bypass shipping fees by arranging to pick up their purchases at our facility.  Please contact us BEFORE purchase for this option. 

Domestic Shipping: Under 100 lbs.

We do our best to estimate flat shipping rates from San Diego, CA.  We utilize Fed Ex for our commercial package shipping.  If you’d like a more exact shipping rate (which includes packaging and handling) please contact us BEFORE purchase with your exact ship to address.

Domestic Shipping: Over 100 lbs.

We utilize different freight services depending on the size and nature of the item.  Please contact us BEFORE purchase for exact freight rates.  These rates are subject to packaging and handling fees to include: boxes, padding, pallets, and crates if applicable.  You are welcome to contract your own transportation, however FOB orders are subject to packaging and handling fees.

International Shipping:

Due to the sensitive nature of our instrumentation, ALL international sales are subject to approval.  We do NOT sell to countries on the US Government watch lists.  All international sales are subject to a $25 to $50 handling fee for document generation which includes a commercial invoice for customs purposes.  International freight purchases are subject to crating fees utilizing pressure treated stamped wood.  Please contact us for exact rates. You are welcome to contract your own transportation, however FOB orders are subject to packaging and handling fees.
