Baseball comments: For the Phillies, Hoerner was 0-2, 3 Saves, 2.08 ERA in 1972.   He was traded to Atlanta on June 15.   There he was 1-3, 2 Saves, 6.56 ERA.

Hoerner returned to the Phillies as a Free Agent in 1975.

In his 14 year career, 1963-77, Hoerner yielded 50 HR.   Only 4 hitters hit 2 HR off Hoerner: Lou Brock, Billy Williams, Jim LeFebvre and Roberto Clemente.

Fit: An Essential card to the 1972 Atlanta Braves.   Only one Pitcher had more Saves for the 1972 Phillies (Mac Scarce - 4).   Hoerner is at least an Optional card on the Phillies, too.   He is no worse than their 11th Pitcher.

Card quality comments – Examine the photo carefully before bidding.

My own non-expert comment:    The centering is not the best.
