You are bidding on a NEW Punch! ViaCAD 2D/3D for the MAC [old version].
Overview
Whether you’re a hobbyist or a pro, ViaCAD 2D/3D for Mac can help you
get professional results with its combination of intuitive tools and
precision features. It combines unprecedented ease of use with an
extensive collection of 2D/3D modeling tools perfect for furniture,
jewelry, mechanical, or architectural design tasks.
Built on a precision solid modeler, data created with ViaCAD is
suitable for manufacturing or rapid prototypes. ViaCAD’s innovative
visual interface provides feedback and works with you throughout the
design process, enhancing your creativity. For instance, it allows you
to quickly toggle between 2D and 3D views. With more than 80 minutes of
training videos plus compatibility with AutoCAD, ViaCAD is the
must-have Swiss army knife of CAD.
Get started fast
- Integrated video tutorials--Step-by-step instruction teaches fundamentals and tips for 2D/3D tools.
- Turn your idea into 3D--Lathe your outline into 3D with two mouse clicks.
- See results fast--Quickly change view orientation, colors, and lighting.
- Simple 2D editing--Make rapid modifications with pushing, pulling, and sketching tools. 2D changes automatically update in 3D.
- Create
prototypes--Precise and accurate, your design is ready for rapid
prototyping. Export options allow you to “3D print” your design.
LogiCursor
- LogiCursor 2D and 3D--Automatically identifies and snaps to
locations of centers, endpoints, midpoints, tangents, and many more as
you draw.
- Instant 2D/3D Views--A single-click mouse click automatically toggles your drawing and tool set between 2D and 3D.
- Quickly create 3D objects--Convert simple 2D line profiles to 3D on the fly. View from any angle.
2D design
- Trace from a bitmap--Import bitmap images. Trace with 2D tools, to create an outline.
- 2D section properties.
- Autogenerate
2D--Automatically generate side, front, top isometric views from 3D
models. Create section, auxiliary, detail, and section views.
- Symbols--More
than 26,000 integrated symbols, including doors, windows, mechanical,
electrical, fasteners, CMOS, HVAC, LAN, and more.
- Architectural tools--The 2D architectural tools provides fast drafting tools for creating walls, windows, and doors.
3D design
- 3D modeling update--The underlying modeling kernel was updated providing improvements to blending
- Create prototypes--Instantly convert your ViaCAD file to STL, for 3D prototype modeling, with a single mouse click.
- Add and remove tool--Use Boolean tools to add, subtract, and intersect parts, generating complex parts from simple ones.
- Convert 2D profiles into 3D--Quickly lathe, extrude, sweep, and skin profiles into 3D shapes.
- Feature operations--Intelligent features allow you to edit parts using blending, shelling, and bending tools.
What’s new
- Performance boosts--200X faster Hidden Line; 6X faster
Dynamic Repaints; 2X faster Static Repaints; Level of Detail for even
faster performance
- 3Dconnexion support--The SpaceNavigator
device drivers are now recognized by ViaCAD. This includes support for
MAC OS X (Universal Binary), Windows XP, and Vista. Use the
SpaceNavigator to dynamically zoom, rotate, and pan views into your
data models.
- Multiple viewports--Viewports provide a
graphical user interface to display the same drawing in multiple views.
Each view may have a different orientation, which provides the ability
to see an object simultaneously in isometric, side, front, and top
views.
- New Using Wizard--This dialog box provides the
ability to create a new drawing file from a collection of custom
settings or selection of an existing file from a template. Quickly set
up a drawing for mechanical or architectural layouts.
- Single-click
fill and hatch--Click in a region of trimmed or untrimmed curves to
hatch or fill. Resultant hatch is auto trimmed and remains associative
to the neighboring untrimmed curves.
- Verify tools--Use the
new bounding box tool to determine the rectangular bounding volume of
an object. Or verify the curvature circle at any location of a curve.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X v10.4 or later
