A: I have not tried to play tapes through the firewire to a PC or MAC. I'm pretty busy with work at the moment, but if I get some spare time I will try to import some video into my editing system to see if this works.

 Q: Can you give any details? Does it power up, do the eyepiece and LCD display show the camera image working? Can the door open and tapes be ejected, does it play and or record tapes? thanks
