Limoges Porcelain Chocolate Pot ~ Factory Decorated

This is a beautiful chocolate pot, decorated perfectly not too much but just enough to make it truly pop! Between gold bands the factory artist has applied green leaves on a vine around the upper portion of the pot and around the rim of the lid. The handle, finial and spout are a brilliant coin gold. The body of the piece is a shinny white making the gold and the vines really stand out. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. Backstamp: Limoges France Depose around a triangle with MC in the middle, Martin over Limoges in blue Measures: 8" W Spout to Handle x 9 " H Please visit Timber Hills Antiques Shop on Ruby Lane for different and unique items.
