This came from an estate sale and I believe it to be vintage. It does look to be handmade. It is thick and it is padded. It has little pieces of yarn, when strightened out, are tied into bows.I did notice some light stains on a couple of the squares. There are some areas where seams are coming loose and need to be resewn. (see last pic). The back is solid red. It has some small dark spots that will most likely  wash out. It measures approx. 46".
