Up for auction today is the original "Guinness" Wrist Watch , that I bought for my son in Ireland a while back. It has a circular opening on the face that shows the day date, not month! The openings not large, so if your my age (youth deprived) you can't see it well, but young people have no problem. I bought two silver watches from the Blarney Woolen Mill in Blarney, one for each son. But one of my sons is stockier and has wrists that are quite large. He can't wear most watch bands. Therefore, it didn't fit. (If most bands fit you, you'll have no problem as this is an average size band. The other one's fit perfectly so he happily wears it. Thus we come to the reason for the auction. Someone else could be happily wearing the 2nd watch that is still secured in it's original container. Since my son has always had issues with the size of watch bands, he tried on my 2nd son's watch first. Therefore, no reason to break into THIS watch. Now you have the perfect Christmas present!!!! An unopened, unused, new GUINNESS WRIST WATCH. I've shown you a picture of the watch still in the original case. In the 2nd picture, you see a close up of the face of the watch. The word, Guinness, is written under the 12:00. I don't think you can see it clearly on the picture, but it shows up well in real life. I don't know the state of the battery. We never removed the watch from the case, so I'm assuming they have the battery separated from the device somehow to save it. If not, it's an easy fix. I'm starting the listing price below what I paid for it due to the battery question. You could still buy and new battery and not pay what the watch cost.
