Dell Inspiron 600m PM 1.80Ghz PARTS LAPTOP CRACKED LCD

I received this in a shipment of used laptops. I received it in without it's ac adapter, without a hard drive and without a battery. To test it I hooked it up to an ac adapter and the laptop boots up just fine to a CRACKED DISPLAY. I did hook it up to an external monitor and it sent an image there just fine. It first booted up to a real time clock error plus an error stating it couldn't determine the adapter I was using, I was using a PA-10. I went to setup and set the date and time and exited out of there. It boots looking for a bootable device. I put a bootable cd in the DVD/CDRW drive and was able to boot to that. I rebooted and got into the setup page you see above. Something to note, since the laptop could not recognize the adapter the system is running at a slower CPU speed than the full 1.80Ghz. Could be an issue with the laptop or ac adapter. That was the extent of my testing, no further tests were performed. Has a WinXP Pro Edition COA sticker on the bottom, disk not included Service tag 741ZD51.

*The case is in poor shape. Numerous light scratches and wear marks on the outside of the case. The top left corner of the LCD assembly has some melted plastic. Some cracks in the case along teh right side. At the fan exit area a plastic rib is cracked. Palmrest areas are discolored from wear. A crack in plastic at the right palmrest. Keyboard keys are polished. Missing rubber foot pads from bottom.

AS FAR AS GUARANTEES, THESE SYSTEMS ARE NOT TESTED WITH AN OS, THE EXTENT OF MY TESTING IS DESCRIBED ABOVE. THESE SYSTEMS ARE STRICTLY SOLD AS IS WITH NO RETURNS , SOME ITEMS MAY HAVE UNDERLYING ISSUES NOT FOUND DURING LIMITED TESTING, PLEASE KNOW THIS AND BID ACCORDINGLY.

In an effort to make shipping cost's fair to everyone and make it possible for me to cover the cost to ship to you I am in the process of converting to a calculated shipping method vs. a fixed method.
