The Lord of the Rings:
The Fellowship of the Ring
7" PVC Figure
by Toy Biz, 2001
The Fellowship of the Ring was formed as a brotherhood between members of the various Free Peoples of Middle-earth. Its purpose was to take the One Ring to Mordor that it might be cast into the fires of Orodruin, the mountain in which it was forged, in order that it might be destroyed.
The Fellowship is also known as the Company of the Ring, the Nine Walkers, or more simply The Fellowship or The Company.
The Fellowship consisted of nine members: four Hobbits, two Men, one Elf, one Dwarf, and one Istar wizard. This number was chosen to match the number of Ring Wraiths, also known as Black Riders or the Nine Riders. It is notable to say that the Fellowship was composed of all males.
Legolas Greenleaf was a Sindarin Elf who became a part of the Fellowship of the Ring. With his keen eyesight, sensitive hearing, and excellent bowmanship, Legolas was a valuable resource to the other eight members of the Fellowship. He is 2,931 years old.
Includes bow, arrows, and dagger. Right arm has 'dagger-slashing action'. Figure is mint. Package is unopened and in new condition.
