Released in 2006, THE INTELLIGENT DESIGN OF... collects rarities by the Chicago-based post-rock band Joan of Arc. As one might guess from the group's penchant for quirky song titles (i.e. "Stemingway & Heinbeck," "For a Half-Deaf Girl Named Echo") and dreamy, experimental arrangements, the tracks here are far from conventional, with the chiming, drone-laden single "You" providing one of the compilation's most accessible moments.

The cd & package are both in mint shape with the exception of a neat hole punched into the barcode on the back. Whenever you purchase more than 1 item I will always try to combine shipping to lower your total cost. If you win an auction and are still looking at other auctions of mine then let me know and I can wait and combine the items.Overseas shipping can be greatly reduced by shipping without jewel cases. Shipping without cases it would be $2.25 to ship 1 cd with it's booklet and paper inserts and each additional cd costing $1.25. Some cds come in digipaks or other forms which can not be shipped in this manner. Shipping to Canada or Mexico does not benefit from this method because of the already lower shipping costs to those two countries.
