End of the Day was painted by Jonathan Farley.  It is UNFRAMED and signed.  The original oil painting is on a 8 in. x 10 in. canvas board painted with high quality oil paints. 

Jonathan loves to paint in the French Impressionist style often painting outside in the plein air technique they made so popular.  Jonathan is inspired by Monet, Alfred Sisley, and Van Gogh as well as plein air American painter Kevin Macpherson.  Jonathan is also a member of the Portland Plein Air Society and paints outdoors regularly.  He does studio work as well and sometimes finishes his paintings in one sitting, which is called, alla prima.

Jonathan is self taught and has been painting for over 15 years.  He studied with Kirk Miller in Orange County and taught at his studio.  Jonathan has traveled all over the world looking for the perfect places to paint including Mexico, Guatemala, The Philippines, Romania, Fiji, and much of the United States.  He is continually taking classes and workshops to improve his craft.
