Based on Jerry Sterner's hit Off-Broadway play, a corporate raider with a taste for junk bonds and junk food is intent on devouring New England Wire and Cable - and as many doughnuts as humanly possible.

Adaptation of Jerry Sterner's hit off-Broadway play. First produced in 1987, the stage version starred Kevin Conway, Mercedes Ruehl, and Arch Johnson. William Goldman and Nora Ephron were reportedly considered as possible screenwriters for the screen adaptation.
