I generally try to highlight (bold print) a few of my personal favorites from every LP I post, but this album is so fantastic that their simply is no choosing – they are ALL favorites!

GRADING AND PRICING 

After a visual inspection, each opened 45/78/LP/CD is thoroughly cleaned with a product made for such use (not with water, as water can cause damage); this removes most fingerprints, dust and such.  Then, each is played (at least in part - unless it is brand new and never been opened) and assigned a quality observation rating based on 4 areas: label, appearance, sound and cover/jacket.  The ‘OVERALL’ [**] condition as noted in the description averages all 4 of these areas and is based on the Goldmine Standard (explanation of which can be found using my "ME" page link below).

[Please note that I do grade conservatively; because I’d rather have my customers pleasantly surprised by finding an item in better shape than stated, than be disappointed because they were expecting better.]

Next, I investigate various web-sites, research selling histories, and read some music reviews which might be available; hoping I don’t overlook anything super important.  (Yes, I do spend the time to do this because it is my belief that it may not always be easy doing what’s right, but it is always the right thing to do.)

By taking into consideration this information and the overall condition of the piece, I price the item accordingly; doing my utmost to be objective to both my customers and myself. 

GENERAL CONDITION 

Please keep in mind when purchasing any pre-opened or used music, regardless of media type or from what vendor, playback equipment can vary greatly.  Although unlikely, it is possible that a record (tape/CD/DVD, etc.) which plays without a glitch on my equipment, may play differently on yours.

Some LP’s may be repressing of the original.  This can be very difficult sometimes to tell, and I understand how this information can be of the utmost importance to a collector of perfection to determine desirability and worth.  If I obtain proof that any recording should be an original pressing (hence having increased value), I will state so in the item’s description.  Whenever I have available the release number from the cover or the label, regardless of any findings I may have knowledge of, I will include this information in the description so that you may do your own research should you feel inclined to do so before your purchase.

All music has been opened and played at least once, unless otherwise stated; having been purchased for the enjoyment of the music, not necessarily as an investment.  So, those that "are in the know" more-so than I about such things, might get lucky and find a rare gem some day in my listings and take advantage of a good deal.  (Just please, don’t tell me if I am the one who through my own fault sold you the million dollar prize for 10 bucks – lol.)

I can understand how the following information might be more than you may want to read, (albeit I have used a large font to make it easier) but please consider the effort to scroll all the way down, because I feel your education as a consumer is worth the time – both mine and yours.  And because money matters, it deserves to be protected. So, the where, what, when and why you choose to spend it is important - at least I know for me it is.  Personally, I hate (and avoid) uninformative ads; I believe shoppers deserve better.  If a seller has nothing to say about themselves or their products, why would I be interested? As my customer, you warrant respect along with an understanding that you are important to me - and you'll get it. 

Thereby, I am committed to earning your trust and have invested my time and energy herein to achieve that goal.  My business mission statement is simple: To treat you the way I expect to be treated – fairly, honestly and with dignity.  Hence, you can buy from me in total confidence, as I (unlike some vendors) refuse to indulge in the practice of unrealistic sales gimmicks or trickery, hidden fees, and/or poor customer service. 

I charge reasonable prices to start with – starting at the lowest amount possible (even if that means I take a loss by offering it for less than I paid for it – and please keep in mind that should you discover a price tag on the item, that is not necessarily the price I paid for it).

All items reflect researched fair resale value which never asks anyone to pay more for an item than I would pay for it myself in today’s marketplace, giving consideration to it’s condition, value and rarity based on my investigations.  To price something so low as to give it away or to demean it’s worth, would be unreasonable by anyone’s standards, to price it too high would be unacceptable by my standards. (Being true to my Libra nature.)

Please be aware that because my inventory is home-based, it is not readily renewable from a supplier.  I may only have the ONE item as it is posted, so if you'd like to own it, please bid on it, because once it is sold, it's gone.

PAYMENT

An invoice should be generated and issued within 24 hours of when the auction closes. This could be automatically done via eBay or manually issued by me.  If you notice any discrepancies after the auction closes between the invoice you receive and the one you expected, or if you get more than one invoice, or no invoice at all, please notify me immediately.

If available and you select the 'buy it now' option, you should be instructed or prompted on how to make payment immediately.  In this case, it is not necessary to wait on the invoice.

It is appreciated greatly when payment is made within 2 days after the invoice [automatic or manual] is supplied to you.  However, if you need extra time, please just communicate with me and I'll be happy to work with you.  If I have not heard from you, or you have not made payment within 5 days after the auction closes, then on the 6th day, eBay will be notified so that I can begin proceedings to relist the sale. 

All purchases must be made through PayPal because of new eBay guidelines. 

SHIPPING 

All orders will be in route to the buyer the next postal business day after payment has been completely processed.  To be fair, I’ve chosen to give my customers control over their shipping costs and transit times by utilizing calculated shipping.  If you select an optional upgrade from the first (cheapest and longest) media method, and the invoice is giving you errors (eBay is known to have glitches in this program) please don’t get frustrated, just let me know.

***The price tallied upon checkout (and the listing’s S&H tab) is supposed to reflect postal charges from my zip to yours and includes a small handling fee of $2.25 to partially defray shipping materials like the new bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts, etc.***

RETURNS

Should you feel the item has been grossly misrepresented in some way, or if you should find something wrong that I overlooked or failed to mention in this description and it concerns you, then it concerns me too.  I’d welcome the chance to discuss it with you and try to make it right before you leave feedback that is less than 100% positive – a full 5 star’s in all areas is my goal.  (Even though eBay may state that 4 stars are good - it really isn't good enough for me!)

However, if you’d rather return it, all I ask that you please notify me within 3 calendar days after you receive your purchase of intent to return within the next week so that you can confirm the return mailing address and obtain authorization instructions.

In case you are unaware, the Post Office policy concerning insurance insists that the item and the packaging in which the item was mailed be inspected by them before they will pay any claim.  Therefore, I ask that you please keep this evidence until you are certain no damage in transit has occurred. Once you discard the packaging or do not allow for this postal inspection to take place, it will be a sign of confirmation that you feel it arrived as it should.  I will insure packages (without extra cost to buyer) when I feel the risk of damage or loss exceeds the value of the content.

If your local Post Office determines that the packaging was flawed and is responsible for any damage to the item (they will issue a written finding to you), I will be glad to return your shipping cost (both ways) including handling fee, when I refund your purchase - once the item and the inspector’s note as proof of my error is in my possession.

ALL costs of returning item will be the buyer's responsibility, including delivery confirmation and [optional] insurance (at least initially).  No partial item refunds/returns permitted. Order must be returned in its entirety (i.e.: new recording’s overwrap has not been opened, the picture sleeve, poster, tool’s power cord, dress’s extra buttons, instruction booklet, or other premium item which was included in sale is also included in the return); arrive safely in a timely manner and in the same quantity and quality sent to you in order to qualify for refund without arbitration (unless damage in transit to you has been verified).  Pictures are taken of the item and packaging prior to shipping as proof of condition when it leaves my possession.  You may reuse the same packing materials to re-mail it, if possible. 

After we have discussed alternative options to fix the error (before you leave or receive feedback), and it is agreed that a refund should be issued, your money should post back into your PayPal account within 3 business days after I have received the returned package in the condition you alerted me to expect.
