Turtle Track Pottery and Pins

It is ORGANIC and SPECIALIZED FUN! J Manatees or Sea Cows are Endangered Species, gentle giants, and distant relatives to elephants! They have rough skin, with isolated hairs, and teeny tiny eyes. They are a vegetarian, marine mammal. Most manatees, unfortunately, have scars from being hit by boats as they surface to breathe. The Clear glaze was applied over the swimming manatee design and aquatic vegetation. The manatee and rim have been glazed with Beautiful Blue. The aquatic vegetation is depicted with Johnny Green. The manatee design is at the base of the bowl, so it makes it fun to finish your cereal and see the design. I LOVE Manatees and this Simple, but ADORABLE Bowl!!! It would be SPECIAL and ELEGANT FUN to eat out of this bowl, use it for candy/nuts/flowers, or a GLAMOROUS kitty cat/dog WATER Bowl… now that is a SPECIAL Kitty and Pooch…or… leave it on the table as BEACHY ENVIRONMENTAL décor!! It measures ~ 4.5 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches tall. It was handcrafted using white Little Loafers Clay and fired to Cone 6. ALL of my Pottery is FOOD, OVEN, MICROWAVE, and DISHWASHER SAFE. All of my GLAZES are NON-TOXIC and LEAD-FREE. J I sign all my pottery on the bottom. J I hang my pottery on the wall or above my cabinets where I can see it always as art decoration and then make it functional for everyday use or a party! J Every pottery item I make is a unique original and one-of-a-kind even though some items may appear similar. I hope my love of nature and the clay and fire! ENJOY for many years to come. J |
