I looked at ALL the Madonna planters offered on ebay and did not find ONE like this one. It has very soft lines and a very simple shape, but the look on her face is incredible. This is a very sturdy piece with lots of satin finish glaze. It is more of a creamy white than the pictures show. The piece has crazing all over it, but it only adds to the vintage feel of this pottery piece. There are a few teeny bubble pops in the glaze, but are not distracting. It measures 8 1/2" tall and 7" across. ENJOY
I ship my items like I would want to receive them, w/ lots of bubble wrap and newspaper in a good sturdy, box. I will combine shipping on multiple auction wins. I do not combine shipping on items that are fragile with items that are heavy.I try hard to give an honest, careful description of my items up for auction and I also pack items carefully, so it is not my policy to accept returns unless I have accidentally misrepresented an auction item or if the item is broken in shipping because of something wrong in my packing.
I am not an expert on the things I sell, I buy things that catch my eye at estate sales, auctions, antique malls and garage sales and resell them on ebay often at the same price I buy them.
