This is a vintage 1970 5TH Edition publication of the United States Joint Committee on Printing entitled The Capitol: Symbol of Freedom. It was produced by the 91st Congress and is a pictorial story of the United States Capitol. The publication contains many historical photographs gathered from such sources as the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and the Smithsonian Institution and these photos are used to illustrate how the Federal government works. The magazine-style booklet measures approximately 10 ½" by 13 ½" and contains 112 pages. It is in excellent condition with all inside pages clean and tight and minimal signs of cover wear.
