This book is pretty much brand new; I browsed through it once but never completely read it.  Crisp, clean, no creases or tears.
Peyton Randolph was the first President of the Continental Congress before the office of the President of the United States was created
It could be argued that he, not George Washington, was in fact the father of our country. I bought the book because I found that fact interesting
In fact, there were quite a few Presidents of Continental Congress before George Washington became the first President of the United States
