 What is it?
TiVo DVR uses a hard drive to store recorded shows.
This drive will replace your existing hard drive to increase recording space on your TiVo DVR.
It's a quick and easy procedure with our specially prepared hard drive.

What is included?
You will need Torx #10 tool for most models and Torx #15 tool for some models to install the drive.
(check screws on the back of your Tivo
to see if you need Torx Tools)

What is DB35 Series Hard Drive?
DB35 Series hard drives are specifically manufactured for the DVR market by Seagate.
Consumer computer desktop hard drives sold by other sellers are made for your computer so they are noisy, run
hotter
and require more power to operate.

You must give us your TiVo model. You can fill out our checkout form or email us your model.
Tivo model can be found on the back of the unit or System Information under TiVo Central.

As easy as 1-2-3:
- Take out your old TiVo Hard Drive.
You will need Torx #10 for most models and #15 for some models. If you need these tools, add $4 when you check out.
- Put in new replacement TiVo Hard Drive.
- Go through the
guided
setup as if you got a new TiVo.
Your season pass settings, recorded shows, thumb ratings
will not be preserved. However, this will not erase your
subscription status
with Directv or TiVo.
All that information is kept on your main unit not on the hard drive.
If you have no phone line available during the
guided setup, wired USB to ethernet adapter for broadband is available for sale,
so please inquire.
Note that this device only
works on Standalone TiVo. If you have the new Standalone Dual Tuner TiVo,
you do not need the USB to ethernet adapter.
Ethernet port is built in.
Phone line is required for Directv TiVo during the
guided setup. (You might be able to use Vonage VOIP)

Shipping Details:
Hard drive is taken out from it's original factory sealed packaging and prepared
for your TiVo model before shipping.
For retail hard drives, it will be repacked with the manufacturer approved packaging for safe transportation so retail
box is not included.
Manufacturer will not honor your warranty request if you do not use an approved packaging, so please
hold on to our packaging.
Product is usually shipped on the same day or next day after cleared payment and your
TiVo model is received,
excluding weekends & Holidays.
Warranty Details:
Hard drive is brand new, not refurbished. It carries 5 year warranty from manufacture date by Seagate.
We stand by our product as well so if it doesn't work on your TiVo, send it back within 30 days of receiving the product
and full refund will
be provided. If you want a replacement instead, we will send you a replacement. After 30 days,
if the product fails, we will work with you to get RMA service from manufacturer.
All rework on
the drive or replacement
drive will be
free for 1 yr from the date of purchase. However, you will have to
pay for any return
shipping costs after
30 days.
Just to be clear, buyer is responsible for
all shipping costs for returning
the product to us
or RMA
service
if it is necessary.
Return Policy Details:
- If an item does not function or is damaged during the shipping process, full refund
will be provided.
- Buyer is responsible for the return shipping charges.
- The defective item must be returned with in 30 days.
- The defective item must be in the same condition as it was when it was sent, unless
it's damaged
during shipping process.
- Buyer must contact the seller before shipping it back. Seller might ask for proof in
the way of digital photos.
- Refund will not be given until seller has finished inspecting the product.
If any evidence of tempering is found,
refund will not be provided and the product
