Item Description:
This extraordinary 4 drawer bombay chest has 5 beautiful paintings, all hand done. 100% handmade (not mass produced) using a solid beechwood frame (treated by kiln drying to a 10% moisture content) and a high gloss mahogany finish, this chest is very heavy and built to last a lifetime. Ram's head brass ormolu mounts stretch down to the cabriole-like legs and onto the feet. The drawers have dovetail joinery and ornate brass handles. This lovely chest is a French reproduction imported from Egypt and perfect for converting into a bathroom vanity if desired. Wherever you choose to display this gorgeous piece in your home, it is sure to bring many accolades. But don't wait, these highly desirable pieces go quickly!
