Movie description
With a $71 million budget and mind-blowing special effects, INDEPENDENCE DAY is a grand, high-tech throwback to such films of the 1950s as THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL and WAR OF THE WORLDS. Here, aliens, in numerous gargantuan spaceships, arrive without warning and hover over the world's most important cities, creating global panic. The nasty visitors use death rays to blow New York, Washington D.C, and Los Angeles to smithereens. A handful of plucky Americans, including the Clinton-esque President (Bill Pullman), a gung-ho fighter pilot (Will Smith) and a computer geek named David (Jeff Goldblum), attempt to devise a strategy against the invaders. On July 4th, their risky plan is put into effect, as dozens of fighter pilots (including the President) wage an assault on the spaceships. However, their success (and the fate of the world) depends on David, who is attempting to disarm the aliens's mothership.

Our VHS tapes come from many different stores and outlets. Because of this, our tapes may have a minor flaw(s) i.e.: missing cover, stickers, slight shelf ware. We do our best to list any major flaws with used tapes. All our used VHS tapes have a return policy if you are not happy with your tape purchase.

Why is this policy in place?

Unfortunately, some bidders buy a used tape and except it to be brand new from the video store.

Media Mail Shipping

Because of the high cost of shipping we offer media mail. In order to keep shipping costs low for our customers media mail VHS are paper wrapped and shipped with a delivery confirmation number. If you would like, your tape box shipped please email us for a shipping price.

PLEASE NOTE: Media Mail shipping can take as many as 7-30 days to arrive. Media mail has NO guarantee delivery date.

Priority / Express Mail Shipping

If you would like your VHS tapes sent by U.S.P.S Priority or Express Mail, please email us. The rates are much higher than Media Mail shipping. We will weigh the tapes and let you know how much Priority or Express Mail will cost. We can also ship in Flat Rate boxes for both domestic and international orders.
