All shipping and handling charges must be paid at the time of purchase, as shipping is prepaid. Customer arranged shipping is allowed; a packaging/crating fee will be charged. -Small items will be shipped with FedEx. FedEx shipments are automatically insured with a $100 value; additional insurance beyond that is the responsibility of the buyer, and is recommended. Insurance must be requested and paid for at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for packages once they leave our warehouse. We do take pride in our packaging, but handling of the package after it has been picked up is beyond our control. If any damage has occurred, make a note when signing for the package, keep all packaging materials, and take pictures of the damage if possible. We will be happy to assist you with the claim process, but it is the responsibility of the buyer to file the claim. -Large items will be shipped by common freight carrier. There is a $120 minimum charge for all freight shipments. Used equipment is typically covered at $.20/pound by all major freight companies; additional insurance is recommended and is the responsibility of the buyer. We will be happy to assist you in the claims process, but it is the responsibility of the buyer to file the claim. Any accessorial services such as lift gate service, residential delivery, or inside delivery involve additional surcharges and must be requested and paid for at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for requested services performed at the time of delivery. -Customer Pick Up of equipment is allowed. Our warehouse is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with additional hours available by appointment. Pick up appointments are appreciated; please notify us a day in advance so that we may have your item, as well as staff, prepared. Loading of large equipment such as walk-in refrigeration may involve a loading fee. We will load your equipment, however we will not secure it, and are not liable for the equipment after it has left. It is the buyers responsibility to have securing and protective equipment (i.e. straps, blankets, etc.)
Feedback:
Feedback is an important part of Ebay. I have a 100% feedback rating and strive to keep it this way. I expect my buyer to leave me positive feedback when the item they purchase from me is received. I will in turn leave feedback for the buyer. If you have a problem with an item please contact me by email within 3 business days of receiving the item.
Refrigeration Equipment:
Refrigeration units are to be used in the recommended ambient temperature as stated by the manufacturer. Failure to do so may cause the equipment to function improperly and/or break down. In such a case, we are in no way responsible for the equipment. Walk-in refrigeration may require additional parts, refrigerant, and labor to be set up for your operation. We are not responsible for the cost of such parts or labor. Please note, the solder that holds refrigeration lines together becomes brittle as it ages. When older refrigeration units are shipped on a truck, there is movement which may cause the brittle solder to crack or break and cause a refrigerant leak. The repair and recharge of the unit is typically less than $100. Refrigerant costs technicians approximately $6/pound. Please note that this has been known to happen, but it is not an expensive repair.
All sales are final and all items are sold as is where is. However, if there is an issue, we will be happy to investigate the situation. You must contact us in writing within three days of receiving the equipment to explain the circumstances. We will not be responsible for labor costs involved with repairs; but parts may be covered. We are not responsible for any costs involved with repairs done to the equipment without our prior approval. For approved returns, the buyer must arrange return shipping. We are not responsible for returning the item to us. Initial shipping costs will not be refunded. The item cost, less 20% restocking fee, will be refunded after the equipment has been returned to us and meets our inspection. In my almost two years on Ebay with hundreds of high dollar items sold I have only had one return. The buyer purchased a pressure fryer from me not understanding completely how it worked. She explained this to me and we accepted it back with no problems and a full refund to her. I describe all my items fairly and accurately and all pictures are of the actual item that the buyer will be receiving. My feedback and customer service is important to me. We do not accept the return of items damaged during shipment. The customer is responsible for keeping the equipment and filing a damaged shipment claim. We will refuse any return of damaged goods; therefore the buyer would be liable for any additional shipping and/or storage charges.
