ANTIQUE LOT OF 5 1870s DOCUMENTS, RECEIPTS, PAPERS

This is an ANTIQUE LOT OF 5 1870s DOCUMENTS, RECEIPTS, PAPERS. This is from a huge lot of receipts, documents, newspapers, letters and other items from an estate sale. Some of the items were dated as early as 1830s and span through the civil war and after. They were all from the Larsh & Campbell families who were related. There were also some civil war items I will be listing this week as well.

In this group there is a promisory note from Indiana Campbell to pay to his father Archibald Campbell on an advancement against his father’s estate ‘without being chargeable with interest.’ Another is a Contract for a monument dated December, 1872 for $613 for a monument of Italian marble to be delivered to his father’s gravesite. It has the date of his father’s death Nov. 6, 1872, the specifications of height, width etc of the marker. There is another receipt for $5.00 dated 1890 with great graphics for payment against a ‘Pump account.’ Also included is a cover with a 3 cent stamp and Dec 7 Richmond Indiana postmark. The envelope is addresed to Indiana Campbell from the First National Bank in Richmond, Indiana. The last item is a June 8, 1872 land tax receipt from Preble County, Ohio for Archibald Campbell. A couple have some tattering, rather normal for as old as they are. These are WONDERFUL ANTIQUE DOCUMENT COLLECTIBLES!
