The is dated 1862 and looks to be made out of copper.  It reads, ”GENTLEMEN PLAYERS ARE REQUESTED TO ONLY WASH THEIR BALLS IN THE SINKS PROVIDED AND NOT ELSEWHERE
J. Thomas Honorary Secretary Newport Golf and Country Club 30th June 1862”.  It measures 6 ½” by 2”.  It is discolored in some areas
