This auction consists of a beautiful vintage  Inuit Grass Basket, which we currently acquired at a estate sale , the lady we  purchased it from was downsizing  the info given to me  was that it was in  her possession for 30 - 40   yrs   , prior to that they're is no info , The basket  measures  approx   11  inches wide x   5"  total height   not including the  soap stone bear head , the  bear measures approx 3.5 " x 1 3/4 "  , the basket is beautifully done  with no holes , rips or tears, they're is  2- 4 broken weaves    as seen in photo's but does not detract from the beauty of the basket  &  the   Inuit stone carving of a  Bear that serves as the handle for the basket's lid does have a chip on the edge of his nose  & ear ,
