I may be way off base on this display stand. I think it was for a large Beatrix Potter figurine or group of figurines? It is impressed under glaze: Beswick, England and the number 6. There is also a very small hand painted number in brown ink: 21. The stand is porcelain and oval in shape. The top is textured mossy-green (like you would find on a forest floor). The border is brown. The glaze is lovely. It measures approx. 4 and 7/8" x 10" and stands 1 and 1/4" high. In excellent condition with no chips, no cracks. Two small  circular openings on each end of base. Would make a lovely jewelry stand display too!
