Traditional Mongol bow



This bow is a beautifully handcrafted traditional Mongolian Bow by Hungarian Bowyer Istvan Toth.  This is a very fast and powerful bow ideal for target, hunting or mounted archery.  This style bow was developed with a distinctive bridge on which the string rests.  This gives an extra pop when the string is released and snaps against it giving greater velocity to the arrow.  This bow measures 54-1/4" unstrung and 53-1/2" strung.  (Keep bow unstrung when not in use.)  The fiberglass limbs are wrapped in brown cow leather.  Grip and stitching also in cow leather.  Ash syhas (tips) are laminated with horn.  This bow measures 48# at optimum draw of 28".  Arrow guard is on left and right sides of grip for shooting of both hands.  
This handcrafted bow, while using the advantages of modern technology authentically revive the legendary bow of the ancient Mongolians and other nomadic people of the steppes in their characteristic features and appearance.
The shipping time is 5-7 day.
