AESTHETIC BROWN TRANSFERWARE JUG OR PITCHER

HIDDEN PEONY FLOWERS

Staffordshire England ~ c. 1882

This lovely Victorian aesthetic 6 1/2 " tall x 5 " wide pitcher is transfer printed in dark chocolate brown.

The pattern features impressed flowers along the neck of the jug and very exotic Peony flowers hidden in the heavy brown transfer of leaves and smaller flowers.

Condition is EXCELLENT, clean shiny and bright. appears to have never been used. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. Light glaze rub to the spout.
