You're bidding on a commercial grade 7'x7' L-screen kit that includes both frame and a polyethylene net.
We are selling a VERY LIMITED supply at NO RESERVE with the opening bid below wholesale
This is an essential piece of equipment for any batting cage, whether in your backyard, at school, or anywhere you're doing batting practice with a live pitcher.
Cheaper "economy" L-screens typically have smaller diameter tubing, and no vertical support bar. Without this vertical support, an L-screen frame not only feels flimsy, but can collapse the first time someone swings on the horizontal cross bar. Our frame tubing is 1.5" powder coated steel with a non-reflective black finish for extra durability and rust prevention. The frame assembles and disassembles easily, using spring button type connectors, making it very portable. The netting is #36 square hung high-density polyethylene with the same construction features as our batting cages - machine sewn borders around the perimeter - not simply woven through the meshes. These nets install easily and slip over the frame like a pillowcase.
Good luck!

Twine Size
As a general rule, netting is measured in twine size. Larger twine numbers designate larger twine sizes. For example, #24 is about twice as thick, and therefore twice as strong as #12 twine. We've created this table to allow you to easily compare twine sizes by application.
| #12 | #18 | #21 | #30 | #36 | #42 | #62 |

Material
Pro: Nylon has excellent resistance to abrasion and is generally the most durable product.
Con: Nylon is expensive and absorbs water easily, deteriorating faster when used outdoors.
Application: Best for indoor cages where durability and break strength are more important than budget.
Pro: Inexpensive and moisture resistant.
Con: Requires added UV protection (standard on all our nets) or it will deteriorate from sun exposure and will experience greater breakdown in warmer climates.
Application: Both indoor and outdoor.
Netting Construction
All of our cages are assembled on computer controlled sewing machines with heavy rope borders, posi-lock stitched on top, bottom, and vertical corners of the cage. We also sew an extra rib line that runs down the middle of the top panel, from front to back. The posi-lock stitching improves the durability, making sure you can enjoy your net for years.
Square Hung vs. Diamond Hung
Square mesh is better. Diamond is less expensive.
Netting is loomed on the diamond. When we cut the bales down to make the cages, we have less waste when they are hung on the diamond and that cost savings is passed on to you. However, the netting won't hang as straight and the borders are slightly more irregular. We make both types and the choice is up to you.
