Bravia Theatre Sync technology goes beyond simple audio and video transmission when combined with a select number of Bravia LCD televisions. Control functions will also be transmitted via the HDMI cable. With One Touch Play, operations that took several steps have been reduced to one. The receiver detects and receives the best possible video and audio signals from all connected devices, making connection and performance as simple as plugging in a single wire. Sony's HDMI Active Intelligence produces both audio and video through one HDMI cable. Connect the included microphone and with a push of a button, the speakers are automatically adjusted to your favorite listening position. Additionally, the simplified front-side audio and video connections make it easy to play music stored on portables through the receiver.
