Received these speakers from Crutchfield.com when I decided to upgrade my VW GTI's stereo system. Then, I decided to let a pro do the upgrade, and he had his own recommendations for speakers.

These are brand new, still in the box, with speaker adapters for the GTI (though they may work for other cars as well).
