This auction is for the Sink Shown with the design shown. This sink is handmade from solid 16 gauge copper and is finished in a natural "Coffee" patina with a wax finish. This sink will age over time and get more and more beautiful with time. Check out the extra support on the sides and the bottom, 100% solid, 16 gauge copper. Heavy Rubber "Sound Deadening" pads on the bottom and extra supporting pieces on the front and between the bowls. The Handmade Farmhouse Front is supported and welded on both sides for structural Stability.

How will my sink change over time? Copper has a natural “Living Finish”. This is what sets copper apart from other metals and makes copper such a great choice for Sinks and Bathtubs. Natural copper gets more beautiful with age as it settles in to a rich dark blend of deep brown tones. This occurs naturally as the metal ages and is exposed to the air and water. Your new Deluxe Copper product may have been patinated (accelerated patina applied at the factory by a combination of exposure to the elements and heat or flame) at the factory or be a natural copper finish. Regardless of the initial color, the sink will evolve and continue to change as the living finish adjusts to the environment in your home. Eventually the sink or bathtub will stabilize and maintain a beautiful rich and dark brown tone that natural copper products are known for. How fast your sink or bathtub changes the color is largely dependent on the amount of use and the interior home environment, but rest assured that as beautiful as your selection is today, it will be even more beautiful in the days, months and years ahead.
How easy does the copper scratch and what do I do when it happens? This is where our natural copper products are truly amazing! Copper does not scratch any easier than other metals in your kitchen and the best part about the “living finish” that you get from a copper product is that scratches literally fix themselves. You don’t have to do anything! Remember, when you see a scratch you are seeing bright new exposed metal, the unique properties of copper will immediately begin to cover this newly exposed metal area with the same protective patina that makes the rest of the product so beautiful.
