Just a note: When your transaction is finished, we always hope that you feel we've given you a FIVE STAR experience. We hate to even mention it, but those star ratings are really important to eBay and absolutely necessary to a seller's ability to keep selling. I honestly don't know the EXACT age of this nifty old ornament, but you might. *I* would say he dates to the 1920s-1930s. but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he were older. There is high quality workmanship!
I cannot find a mark anywhere on him, so I honestly don't know WHERE he was made.
The pictures are large to show the detail - he actually measures 3-1/2" tall x 2-3/4", wheel to wheel.
He is in AMAZING condition, with the only two paint scuffs the ones on the rear wheel; tiny little white spots.
The color on both sides is bright and vibrant - it's really amazing after so many years.
He seems to have his original fur mane and tail. I'm not sure what they're made out of;
something thick and scratchy. :-) He also seems to have his original gold hanger.
Remember - - this can ship First Class Mail which will definitely save you on postage!
I was excited to find this - there aren't THAT many REALLY vintage ornaments with this kind of
craftsmanship floating around out there. If he appeals to you on the auction, I think you'll be SO pleased in person!
