This snowbaby item is a 2 piece set.  It has a Snowbaby playing violin to an audience of a polar bear and another Snowbaby.  
This auction item is in excellent condition:  no chips, stains, marks, or cracks. 
 

Snowbabies, by Dept 56, are delightful small figurines.  They are made of unglazed creamy white bisque with hand painted accents.  The title of the item tells the story of the piece, usually portraying young children playing in snowsuits.   Some feature arctic animals which are their friends or evergreen trees.   They live in a magical place called Frosty Frolic Land.  Snowbabies  make a beautiful collection displayed during the winter holidays or as a gift to recognize memorable events, love, family and friendship.  They are also a wonderful gift for new parents.

A: violin player is 4 3/4" tall. sitting snowbaby is 3 1/4" tall. Thank you for the question. I should have included that earlier.
