Up for auction is a beautiful set of 3 blue iridescent carnival "Windsor" Diamond Button pattern bowls by Indiana Glass Co. The set includes one large serving salad bowl with two smaller bowls.
The bowls produce very pretty iridescent highlights of blue, green, amber and magenta when light hits them at different angles. The larger/serving bowl produces more intense rays of color than the smaller bowls.
They are in excellent, pre-owned condition without chips, nicks, repairs or deep scratches.
There are a few minimum superficial marks on the large serving bowl. In order to see the marks, you have to hold the bowl in a certain position under the light. The two smaller bows show no signs of use.
Both the exterior and interior of the bowls are pristine clean and satin smooth. They have the same shiny look as they had when they were new.
Please look closely at my photos for details. Any white spots on the items that are not specifically mentioned are camera flash reflections.
The large bowl measures 10 3/8" in diameter at the top, 4 7/8" in diameter at the base and 4" high.
Each of the small bowls measures 7 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/2" high.
The bowls are quite stunning and they will be a wonderful addition to your vintage carnival glass collection.
Shipping: All Parcel Post will be sent by Fed-Ex Ground (except for P.O. Boxes). Fed-Ex Ground is twice faster than Parcel Post, it is more reliable and it can be tracked. However, if you prefer USPS Parcel Post instead of Fed-Ex Ground, let me know and I will be glad to honor your request.
I am seriously down sizing my collections (China, Crystal, Old Glass, Collectable items such as Department 56...) that I have been collecting for the past 25 years. And this is just one of the many interesting pieces I will be listing in the coming weeks. |
