Up for auction is a $50 Certificate of Indebtedness from Columbia South Carolina that is dated 1873, not 1872.  The note contains the bust of George Washington along with the Negro men in Cart and Negro men with Cotton.  The note was cancelled at Charleston South Carolina and was done by the American Bank Note Co.
