Item Description
What I thought was a box of vintage Lincoln Logs turned out to conceal a number of vintage children's books. They have been separated into a few lots and are offered for auction this week. Please note that all of these books are in very bad condition, and very few have their covers intact. A few have just one side of their cover or no cover at all. Most have been inscribed on the inside cover. Please consider these books very worn but a treasure none-the-less. That all having been said, the illustrations alone are worth the cost of media mail postage. Here is a breakdown of the books included:
- Raggedy Ann and the Laughing Brook by Johnny Gruelle, Published by McLoughlin Bros., Inc. Springfield, Mass, 1940. No back cover.
- Prayers for Little Children, Edited by Mary Alice Jones, Rand McNally & Company, Chicago, 1937. Remnants of tape hold cover on.
