FOR AUCTION: ELEVEN (11) TEN LIRA (DIECI LIRE) NOTES 1944 ISSUE. THESE NOTES WERE ISSUED IN 1944 IN DENOMINATIONS OF 1, 2, 5 AND 10 LIRA, WHICH CIRCULATED UNTIL REPLACED BY COINS IN THE LATE 1940’S. THESE NOTES COME FROM AN ESTATE. THE NOTES COVER A RANGE OF CONDITION FROM ABOUT UNCIRCULATED AND VERY FINE TO BARELY BREATHING. THE BETTER CONDITION NOTES HAVE LIGHT WRINKLES BUT WITH REMAINING CRISPNESS. THE POORER NOTES HAVE TEARS AND SOME MISSING PIECES. PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES TO GET AN IDEA OF THE QUALITY OF THE NOTES. SHIPPING/HANDLING WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION IS $1.50. INSURANCE OPTIONAL AT USPS RATES AND AT BUYER’S EXPENSE.
