Painted by me, Janet Hunter.  My painting “career” began as a small girl with lessons from my Mother on how to draw  simple flowers, tulips and daisies to be exact, a little fish, a square box and how to make it three dimensional.

From that moment on, I was always interested in drawing and painting and being creative.  All of this was put on a back burner for many years while I received my education, married, raised a family and worked.  Loving and serving my Lord has always been been a priority in my life.  After retiring from work in 2002, God gave me an opportunity to take up my brushes once again, this time allowing me to teach others the basic principals of watercolor. My desire is to spark an interest in others and share with them a little of my painting  journey.  My hope is they will pass it on to others along the way.   My studio is called “Glory Colors Studio” as a way to thank God for this gifting! We never outgrow our need to learn more about the things we love. I love the "happy accidents" that occur in watercolor!

I use Professional grade paper and watercolor paints!
