Baseball comments: In his first full season with the Phillies, Gonzalez batted .277, 12 HR, 58 RBI.   He led the 1961 Phillies in Stolen Bases (15).

Card quality comments – Examine the photo carefully before bidding.   The card in the scan is the one being offered.   I never alter the scan.   If I think it is misleading I will comment about it.

My own non-expert comment:    The card is crisp and clean.   It may not be quite as bright as new, but I could find no flaw to note.

My goal is to offer ungraded cards presentable for illustrating baseball history.   They are cards I would not be hesitant to give to a friend in a gift set.   They may have minor problems common to ungraded cards, such as some darkness from handling and modest wear.   When these problems are serious enough to distract from the card’s visual impact, I comment and reduce the opening bid explicitly.   In many other cases, I reduce opening bids based on sales resistance because it is possible that bidders have opinions that differ from mine.

Returns accepted if the Buyer is dissatisfied, provided the Buyer pays the postage.
