HO Athearn EMD Lease SD40-2 & GP38-2 Special Edition set Athearn # 2217. The SD40 is powered, the GP38 is a dummy.  This is an unused and absolutely brand new old stock item, I believe the limited production set was produced in the mid 90's. these are just not around anymore!!. This is a great looking set of locos, and Athearn engines run with total reliability.. This is a premium quality engine set and  has never been on a track!! The box is a little shopworn, but

the goods are perfect and have never been out of the box!.
