 DO AWAY WITH THE UGLY, HEAVY "SNOOD" WORN BY SO MANY REENACTORS!   Replace it with a period-correct hairnet.

All hand-stitched, right down to the wire.  Lined on the underside with black velvet and securely stitched together.  Beautiful hand-gathered ribbon in a pale green/yellow color, accented with white pearls across the entire top.  2 small tan tassles hang on the left side. 

Mesh is period-appropriate, fine (but strong) medium brown in color.  Attached securely first to the under-wire, and then to the velvet. 

All my hairnets are new, never worn, custom made!  Smoke-free home.
