With a 9" tall king this is one of the largest and most detailed medieval theme chess set your'll find anywhere.. In the tradition of King Arthur's Camelot and the legend of Excalibur. The most popular theme.  Each set is a handcrafted limited edition work of art. If you are a collector this is a great opportunity to have a table top set indoors that matches your giant 2 foot King Arthur outdoors. Even though it has the design and detail to be in a museum collection, it is very playable because we use the best materials. We have spent the extra time and money to assure that this set is durable and will last. The pieces are solid not hollow. The king for example weights a pound. The felt is put on with water proof glue so you can enjoy your set outside as well. The knights jousting sticks are removable. We think it is worth the extra work to be able to offer a product that we can be proud of.

This auction is for one 9" Antiqued and Handpainted Medieval chess set. 16 ebony and 16 ivory colored pieces only. 32 total. Board sold seperatly at a special price to the winning bidder. Or it looks great on 4" to 6" tiles from the home improvement stores. A very inexpensive way to make a board.  

This chess set is a cut above any thing out there and will make a remarkable addition to any garden, patio, living room, rec-room/gameroom etc.

This set definitely has the WOW factor.
